Nell\u2019estate del 2020 \u00e8 stato presentato per la prima volta il progetto \u201cFrammenti di storia C.R.\u201d ideato e progettato da Sorella Maria Enrica Monaco, Referente alla Storia Comitato Regionale Toscana e membro della Commissione Didattica di Storia della Croce Rossa Italiana, in collaborazione con l\u2019Ufficio Storico Regionale Toscana ed i Divulgatori di Storia CRI.<\/p>

Con questo progetto, volutamente molto semplice e raggiungibile a tutti, in tempo di Covid 19, tramite brevi filmati sono stati diffusi e promossi, attraverso i canali social, i Principi Fondamentali ed i Valori Umanitari dell\u2019Associazione unitamente alla nostra Storia.<\/p>

Per l\u2019anno 2021\/22 sono stati elaborati nuovi filmati, di interesse non solo nazionale, ma Internazionale. Maria Grazia Baccolo, Delegata dell\u2019Area Principi e Valori Umanitari di Trento e membro della Commissione Didattica di Storia della Croce Rossa Italiana ci svela: \u201cCome
molte altre persone, ho preso parte a questo interessantissimo progetto, per realizzare in particolare i video sui fondatori della Croce Rossa. Gi\u00e0 da tempo proposi a Sorella M. Enrica Monaco, l\u2019idea di far tradurre in varie lingue i filmati e presentarli agli operatori di tutte le Societ\u00e0 di Croce Rossa e Mezzaluna Rossa cos\u00ec da diffondere la conoscenza di ciascuno dei membri del Comitato dei Cinque e della riunione del 17 febbraio 1863 a Ginevra.<\/p>

Solo grazie alla generosa disponibilit\u00e0 di tempo e di competenza di:
-Giorgia Gamba Quilliam, gi\u00e0 volontaria della Croce Rossa Italiana, ora della Croce Rossa Britannica, e Istruttore di Diritto internazionale Umanitario, che ha curato la traduzione, Inglese-Italiano
– Joanna MacLean, former Head of the Youth Department of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent and organiser of the memorable event \u2018Supercamp 89\u2019, and later Head of the Federation\u2019s Principles and Policy Department, who narrated the English version of the videos.
– Joanna MacLean, gi\u00e0 Capo del Dipartimento della Giovent\u00f9 della Federazione Internazionale della Croce Rossa e della Mezzaluna Rossa e organizzatrice del memorabile evento ‘Supercamp 89’, e successivamente Capo del Dipartimento dei Principi e delle Politiche della Federazione, voce narrante della versione inglese dei video .<\/p>

Grazie al supporto di Sorella Maria Enrica Monaco, che ha curato il montaggio e la grafica dei frammenti, siamo finalmente riuscite a concludere questa impegnativa realizzazione di sei -FRAGMENTS OF HISTORY- in lingua inglese pronti per essere lanciati nel mondo del web e per essere visti ed ascoltati da un pubblico non solo nazionale ma internazionale\u201d.<\/p>

In summer 2020 the project \u2018Fragments of Red Cross History\u2019 was shared with the public for the first time.
The project had been created by Mrs Maria Enrica Monaco, member of the Italian Red Cross History Faculty and Head of History Section within the RC Regional Committee of Tuscany. The project was delivered with the support and cooperation of the Historic Office of Tuscany and History Tutors of the Italian Red Cross.<\/p>

The project explains the History, Fundamental Principles and Human Values of the Red Cross through short videos that are intentionally simple and accessible to all, particularly during the Covid 19 pandemic. Further videos were created in 2021\/22 to reach a wider, international audience.<\/p>

Maria Grazia Baccolo, delegate for the principles and humanitarian values in Trento and member of the Red Cross History Faculty, says: \u2018Like many others, I have been involved with this project, particularly to realise the video about the founders of the Red Cross. Some time ago I suggested to Mrs Maria Enrica Monaco that we could translate the videos into several languages and share them with Red Cross and Red Crescent volunteers and staff in all societies. This would help everyone increase their knowledge of each member of the Committee of Five and the Meeting of 17th February 1863 in Geneva.<\/p>

The realisation of this second stage of the project has been achieved thanks to the generous help and skills of:
– Giorgia Gamba Quilliam, former volunteer with the Italian Red Cross and now with the British Red Cross and International Humanitarian Law Tutor, who translated the videos into English
– Joanna MacLean, former Head of the Youth Department of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent and organiser of the memorable event \u2018Supercamp 89\u2019, and later Head of the Federation\u2019s Principles and Policy Department, who narrated the English version of the videos.
– Mrs Maria Enrica Monaco edited the videos, making it possible to finilise this challenging project and getting six Fragments of History in English language ready for release and publication on the web so that they can reach a broad international audience.\u201d<\/p>
